Youth Group

 

Joel and Alexine Garcia are the Calvary Chapel Mission Valley youth leaders. Joel is a veteran and El Paso Firefighter. Alexine is a veteran and writer. They met while deployed to Iraq in 2004 and married in 2007. While they loved serving God together they never imagined that God would bring them to work with high school students. They have been in Youth ministries since 2011.

 

A message from Joel and Alexine

 

"We are excited to share the Word of God with our youth group. While many may think that a youth group is just a meeting every Sunday, and Wednesday, here at Calvary Chapel Mission Valley, we take the church outside the walls. We engage our middle and high school students in events to grow their faith in Jesus while having fun."

Our biggest goal is to help your kids grow in their understanding of the Christian faith and their relationship with Jesus Christ. The kids in our group come from all areas of El Paso and all walks of life. We hope that our youth group would be united through their belief in Jesus Christ.
